Heidi works brain injury rehab services both in groups and individually. In reference to group work, click here. When working individually, Ms. Lerner assists a survivor to better get by in life, whether it’s by helping her/him to untie personal knots, strategize about approaching challenges in a new way or by teaching new skills. She has personally and professionally built a vast storehouse of knowledge about brain injury and helps to educate her clients about their personal injuries. The work she does with brain injury clients is driven by the momentum of her own personal experience struggling with challenges, for she knows the process of wrestling with issues until she finds what successfully works for her. The counseling and life skills coaching she does is fully individualized, depending on what the student or client needs.
